Request Guide on WhatsAppWater seeds gently using a rose can or mist sprayer. Overwatering is the #1 cause of seed failure. Allow soil to partially dry between watering.
Most vegetable seeds germinate best at 22–28°C. Use shade nets in peak summer and protect from cold in winter months.
As a rule: sow seeds at a depth of 2–3× the seed diameter. Fine seeds like amaranth need very shallow sowing (1–2 mm).
Use a mix of garden soil, cocopeat and compost (1:1:1) for seedling trays. Sterilize the mix to avoid damping-off disease.
Seedlings need 6–8 hours of light. Leggy seedlings indicate insufficient light. Thin overcrowded seedlings early.
Drench soil with Trichoderma + Pseudomonas solution 2 weeks before sowing to suppress soil-borne pathogens naturally.
